Father and Child Residence // West Oakland

Our residence for men with children is designed for dads at every stage of the custody journey, whether you have full-time care of your child, share custody, or are building toward more consistent visits.

Each room is thoughtfully furnished and can accommodate a second bed, giving you a comfortable, dedicated space for your child to feel at home, with storybook spaces and cozy nooks where your child will genuinely want to spend time. There are three neighborhood parks within a few blocks.

Residents share common spaces including the kitchen, living areas, and outdoor space, and work together to maintain a clean and cooperative household. The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just three blocks from BART, with a house manager to help ensure the home runs smoothly.

A stable, welcoming home matters for custody arrangements and for your relationship with your child. We offer that stability in a safe, supportive community, so you can focus on being the father you want to be.

Rooms are best suited for younger children; please inquire about specific accommodations.

Rates include all household costs: utilities, Wi-Fi, laundry on site, as well as household supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels, and household cleaners.
